Spamming is the act of sending out unsolicited email messages to hundreds, thousands or even millions of email addresses. Spamming is NOT a good marketing technique. Most people and organizations have put in place sophisticated filters to weed out the spam email from their mail box or mail servers. Even if your message does get through these filters it is usually not opened by the user and ends up in the junk email box.

Everyone should go by the rule that if you are not expecting the message from someone then you should treat the incoming message as a potential security risk and not open the message but instead send it straight to the trash. Way too many viruses exist today and are proliferated via email. The moral of this lesson is that unsolicited email or spam is not an effective marketing strategy so don't do it.
