We have three different types of accounts for our CounterTraX members to choose from. Each provides you with different levels of services and storage. You can choose the type of account that is right for you and your needs. You can also change your account type should you decide that you need a different level of service.

When you are choosing the level of service you need it is important to understand how we collect the data from your site and how it is stored on our servers. The CounterTraX application is divided into two pieces, the first is custom HTML and JavaScript code that you install on your Web Site pages. You can install our code on one or more pages on your site. Each time a visitor goes to a page with their browser the custom CounterTraX code is loaded and talks to our servers. This is called a "site hit". If the visitor reloads or refreshes the page then the CounterTraX code talks to our servers again.

The second piece to the CounterTraX application is the part that runs on our servers. This part is responsible for storing the information and reporting. If you have a visible counter on your page then it is loaded from our servers when a visitor loads one of the pages with our CounterTraX code installed.

So in choosing a level of service it is important to remember that if you place our code on a lot of pages and your site traffic is very high then you may quickly hit the 1,000 "site hits" limit of the Bronze account. Once you have reached the daily limit we stop tracking the visitors in our database for that day. Even if you have a high traffic site you may only be interested in tracking a few pages on your Web Site. Maybe you are interested in finding out if the banner ad you bought is generating any traffic to your site. In this case even though your overall site traffic is very high the page that the banner ad links to at your site is all you are tracking and a Bronze or Silver level account would provide enough "site hits".

Should your site exceed the number of "site hits" for your level of service 3 or more days in a 30 day period we will ask you to upgrade to a more appropriate level of service or remove the CounterTraX code from some of your Web Site pages in order to bring your activity level in line with your account.

Gold
Maximize your services and storage levels by choosing our Gold account. One of the main advantages of this account is that you can store visitor information for longer periods of time. This gives you the ability to analyze your sites performance and trends over time. The more information you have on your Web Sites traffic the easier it is to develop marketing plans that generate revenue for your business.

Silver
Silver level is designed for moderate site traffic. Allowing you to keep a 90 day history of the traffic information which is stored on our site. This provides a good insight of the traffic trends for your Web Site.

Bronze
Don't be fooled by the name. Even our Bronze members enjoy great features and services. Our Bronze level is the basic tracking package. It provides you with 30 days of storage for your Web Site. You enjoy most of the features and reports available. Bronze level is designed for low to moderate traffic.

The table below is a summary of the major differences between our levels of service. Use this as a basic reference to determine which package is right for your Web Site. Remember you can change the level of service at anytime.
